Home-based, Family-Centered, Face-to-Face Therapy
  • Initial Assessment: Clients participate in the strengths based, culturally sensitive initial assessment, which attends to past trauma, presenting problems, and current needs/risks for the client. The service provider and the client use this assessment for the development of treatment goals.

Parenting and Family Functioning Assessments
  • Comprehensive assessment report provided with recommendations for services
  • Includes: interview with the adults and children being assessed in current home environment, incorporation of standardized tests, observation of parent(s) relationship with child(ren), assessment of home
Supervised Visitation
  • Family Works, Inc. has four visitation rooms available for use in the office. All visitation rooms have access to a kitchenette area and bathrooms. We also provide community and home-based supervised visits. Therapeutic and Case Management visitation referrals are also accepted.
Victims of Sex Abuse Assessment and Treatment

Parent Education
  • Case managers are trained in the facilitation of a parenting education curriculum that focuses on the needs of the child(ren) at their current developmental stage as well as age-appropriate discipline. Therapists also provide advanced parent education on various topics.
Reunification Services
  • Coordination of family reunification, including communication with various service providers, scheduling of visits (including overnights and TTV), and family therapy during the transition.
Referrals
  • The Department of Child Services and Juvenile Probation can make referrals to Family Works. Referrals from mental health, health or education professionals are also considered. A standard fee for services rate is paid by the referral source. Families may also self refer if they have the ability to pay.
